All the instruments here are serviced and ready to play, so eliminating the risk factor when buying second hand. A good, well cared for used instrument is often a sensible option in terms of value.

This is good deal for this saxophone. Only ever played at home (for a very short time) by its previous owner, it is in pristine condition apart from a small cosmetic mark. There was a small ding (10mm or so) on the bell, which I have removed as well as possible. The picture here was done to show it under the worst light, to be as up front as possible - In "real life" it's barely noticeable, and you really have to look for it. Otherwise, it is mint. The plastic wrapping is still on the case handles, the sling and case strap still in their unopened plastic bags, and it plays, of course, exactly as you'd expect. Beautifully. In the opinion of many, the finest professional horn made today. Over £1000 less than retail price.

This alto is being sold on behalf of a customer and personal friend. Dating from the early 1980's. This is in absolutely beautiful condition, plays perfectly. Even the case (original) is practically unmarked, this saxophone has definitely not seen heavy use. D'addario select Jazz, Otto Link tone edge, (both in a 5 tip) and metal Otto Link (6 tip) are a nice bonus. The stock Yamaha 4C is also included. An excellent horn in tip top condition.
Being sold on behalf of a customer and personal friend. I would very rarely use the word "mint" in describing a pre owned instrument, but I think it's justified in this case. There is no need for me to wax lyrical here about the qualities of this make and model, they are simply superb. It's like new. Really. Original mouthpiece, case, strap, and a Selmer C* mouthpiece as an extra.

Being sold on behalf of a customer and personal friend, is this Buffet Prestige Bass clarinet to low C. Just like the other instruments belonging to the customer, it is in just incredible condition. As far as I can ascertain, it date from around 2000/2002. the original mouthpiece, plus a Vandoren B45, and a nice, sturdy K & M stand. Has to be seen to appreciate the amazing condition it's in. New price is over £11k, and a new one would have no advantage over this.

Being sold on behalf of a customer and personal friend. The yamaha 650 is a professional quality clarinet, made to the highest specs, as are all yamaha instruments. Beautiful cosmetic condition, as this was a back up instrument, and not this fine players primary clarinet, so it has not been subjected to heavy use. The great intonation makes it ideal for doublers as well as pro/student players.

This is one of the best saxophones I have ever played, no doubt.
From Remy's website:
Remy saxophones are unlike any other new instrument. The sound and feel of each horn, although unique on their own, equal, if not surpass the gold standard such as the ‘Mark VI’ and ‘Balanced Action’ horns.
This alone is not only a feature never accomplished before, but also much desired and needed change in the saxophone world.
The beauty of Remy saxophones truly shines when you start realizing that the search for that one vintage horn with your name on it, is over.
The idea that there is a new horn, which combines the very best of the old and the new, is nothing short of astonishing. And it will make any saxophone player ecstatic.
This instrument is just over one year old, does not have high F#, is unlacquered, and starting to develop a nice patina. complete in propac case. I have been agonising for a few months about whether to sell it or keep it. quick, before I change my mind.

A lovely example of this classic instrument. Aristoccrats are among my favourite sounding saxophones. This tenor was produced in 1949. Completely different from the newer Buescher some players may have encountered, after the Selmer takeover, when they became student instruments. This vintage sports a beautiful full & rich sound. The lacquer is original, though with lots of wear. Bodywork is excellent. I fully overhauled this horn several years ago, and since then it hasn't had a lot of use, so the premium deluxe pads are still in great condition, and this sax is ready to play. The original Buescher pad cup 'spuds' are not present on this one, making any future maintenance easier.
Playing well from top to bottom, and fitting nicely into the Bam Trekking case in which it will be supplied.
N.B. I've recently realised that the neck with this instrument is not original, but from a later Bundy (1950's). It fits perfectly, and suits the horn very well, but due to this, the price is reduced

This is a commission sale for a client. The Selmer reference 36 was produced from the year 2000 and is based on the famous balanced action model which began its production in 1936, hence the name of the model. This one dates from 2003. there is lacquer wear in several spots, so while not pristine, the overall appearance is good. It plays absolutely fine from top to bottom, though it would benefit from a strip down and full clean of the mechanism. This would add approximately £200 to the price, or it could be purchased as is for your favourite technician to do the work. Or not, as it plays just fine anyway. There are no dents or dings on the body. An average price for this model preowned in excellent condition would be from around £4500. Our price reflects the aforementioned cosmetic condition, and represents a great price for one of the best playing modern Selmer models.
Reasonable offers will be considered for this saxophone.
